This summer I am head over heels with Organic zoo and Quincy Mae. Organic Zoo have their prints right on point in those orangey tones (so popular on instagram) and Quincy may with the gorgeous ribs and Terry in my favourite stoney tones. One of my tricks with baby wear is to try and stay gender neutral. This was pretty easy with Ezra (There wasn't much gender neutral when B was born) as it was, and still is, on trend. So if spending more from shopping small I knew it was likely to get reworn by Nola. Nola is definitely my last so she is dressed pretty girly (but I have lots of baby girls around my friendship group at the moment so there is always a home for them to move onto after Nola.

Anyway, my favourite pieces and what would be the basis of a baby wardrobe (if I had one) would be texture and tone. That seems to be key this season. Texture- muslin, double weave, rib, pointelle. Tone - Stoney and ethereal.

1. AndoStores 'New bebe 3 piece set', £34 - This would be a gorgeous gift for a new baby and perfect for those little strolls in the pram.

2. Zara 'Striped plush terry bloomers', £9.99 - Terry towelling and rusty tones, Zara always have an option.

3. HM £12.99 - I have always loved H&M's wrap style bodies and this is such an on trend version. Double weave and a unisex shade (This literally dissapeared as i was about to press publish. I have kept it on as 1. I think it will come back in stock and 2. They also have two others colourways in stock - this one went better with my other options.)

4. Organic Zoo 'Shadows of nature shorties', £20 - Gorgeous little shorties. I love the 'shadows of nature' print (the one which looks like a sunrise), wondering if I can squeeze Nola into anything with this print on.

5. Quincy Mae (from Smallable.com) 'Romper in organic cotton rust', £32 - Maybe my favourite piece. As I said, Quincy Mae has hit the nail on the head for me this Spring Summer! Such an easy throw on, looks like baby is a tad more dressed than just a vest but without any added fuss.

6. Hunter + Rose 'Ribbed socks- sky blue', £3.50 - They have a fab selection of little socks all in the right shades. I can't be the only one who loves a sock and sandals combo!?

7. Quincy Mae (from Smallable.com) 'Ribbed bloomers in organic cotton grey-green', £18 - Gorgeous shape and gorgeous colour.

8. Mini Sibling 'Pants, charcoal', £11 - Gutted these are not the right size for Ez, they are the most perfect cut! again Terry towelling for a snuggly butt. Mini Sibling is amazing, Nola gets so much love when wearing her dress, you have to look in the sale sections to find some amazing bargains!

9. Organic zoo 'Shadows of nature body', £28 - Pricey for a body, yes...but look at it. On a hot day that is an outfit in itself.

10. Izipizi 'Milk', £25 - Gorgeous sunglasses in milk. Izipizi have different age categories for a snug and safe fit, they have little bands to help keep them on too.

11. Tiny Human Store 'Leighton stripe set', £27- Easy dressing in this little set, Retro detail on the shorts too.

12. Zara 'beige open-knit briefs', £12.99 - I saved the more girly ones till the end, these are a gorgeous light knit, there are co-ord pieces on the site too but this would look sweet with a plain vest, maybe sage green.

13. Buck and Baa (from Indy and the Whale) 'Shadow pink shortie bloomers', £11 in the sale! - Worth a look if you have a boy too as there are lots of treasures on there always.

A few of my favourite swaddles too. Perfect to use as a blank in summer and can continue to be used as a throw as baby grows.

1. Kiin (from Indyandthewhale) 'Ocean', £24 - Kiin's whole range is stunning.

2. Organic Zoo 'Shadows of nature muslin blanket', £45 - Again, I know, sorry. It is my fave little print.

3. Fabelab (from The Modern Nursery) 'Muslin swaddle - foggy blue', £20 -This is my favourite colour.

4. Garbo&friends (from MollyMeg) 'Bluebell muslin swaddle blanket', £26 - I love this, I so want it for Nola's bedroom.

Shopping for girls is pretty easy, there is SOOO much option. I often choose dresses for Nola, she loves a dress but also, it is so easy to just throw one on in a morning. Again, this little roundup features lots of those neutral, muted, earthy or stoney tones and scruffy soft textures. I wish I could dress like a 2yo girl. Funnily, I love styling kids but I am really crap at styling myself. So if there are any volunteers, I am all ears!

1. Matoma 'Lumi Oversized dress' (from WeRoamWild), £48 in the sale - Apart from the gorgeous photography (Taken by WRW) how beautiful is this dress!? Simple shape but the slight gathering at the top and buttons (AND POCKETS!) make it look a tad more special.

2. Rylee&Cru 'Palm kaftan white' (from Smallable.com), £54 This is an easy throw on for everyday wearing. I don't know the sizing of this but I would be tempted to buy a size too big for Nola and get two years out of it! (I did this with the blue Bobo dress on my feed)

3. HM 'double-weave dungaree dress' £14.99, I had last years double-weave dress from HM and it was great, we got lots of people asking where it was from.

4. MiniSibling 'Strap dress, green tea, diamonds', £14.50- This dress is the most beautiful cut and a gorgeously soft fabric. As you know, we have this in cream (we also had the romper in grey). Whenever Nola wears it I get so many messages asking where it is from. It is an old style but if you look in the sale section it is there in this gorgeous green and also in plain black they look good over a long sleeve tee or with nothing on underneath. I really want this for Noo!

5. LittleShy 'Light sage green muslin frill bloomers', from £16 - The colour of the moment. We were gifted the fawn set in return for photos and they really are so special! (I haven't been asked to post about these I genuinely love them).

6. Zara 'Denim jumpsuit with pleats', £16.99 -This is super cool. It would look nice layered over a long sleeve top or on a warmer day worn alone. a nice Spring/Summer transitional piece. Gotta be confident with the toilet to risk it though .

7. LilyDennison 'Milk swing dress', £19.99 another super simple easy wear dress. This looks so comfy and perfect for spring too. How lovely would this be to wear for coffee and cake after a day on the beach (once we are out of isolation).

8. Pippeta 'Mila dress', £25.99 - I NEED this. It is perfection. The detailing at the back is just beautiful.

9. PoudreOrganic 'Guarana double cotton gauze dress camel' (from smallable.com), £49 This is so similar to the one we had from HM last year and we wore it to death.

10. HM 'cotton dress', £12.99 - Another of this years double gauze styles from HM and super affordable. I would size up.

11. HM 'Vest top and puff pants', £12.99 - How blooming cute are they!?

12. Nixnut jumpsuit (from WeRoamWild), £30 sale - Gorgeous, comfy piece again photographed beautifully by WeRoamWild (This is the daughter of WRW - How gorgeous is she! Perfect model)

13. Rylee and Cru (from Smallable.com) 'Striped dress pink' - £54 this image does not do the dress justice, it is beautiful on, love the tie shoulders and elasticated detail at the top.

14. AndoStores 'longleet colette jumpsuit', £28 - Another denim jumpsuit option but this one has pockets.

15. Mingokids 'Linen Laurel oak skirt', 74.90eu . I would pair this with an oversized tee, trainers and socks. They have complimenting outfits for siblings too and matching headbands etc.

16. Pippeta 'Wide leg overalls', £31.50 - Such a laid back style, could be worn layered or alone. I would pair with natural canvas trainers (maybe the mango ones I put on the Boys' Spring style blog).
